I found this workshop particularly challenging for several reasons. Firstly I found charcoal to be a difficult medium to use, however I did appreciate its expressive capabilities. Secondly, whilst I understood the theory behind this workshop, in expressing movement and duration, I found it difficult to achieve this. I did notice my improvement towards the end of the workshop however there is still a lot of improvement needed in the skills which this workshop required and these could be worked on in future.
